Your Role at Winslow
Winslow is seeking an experienced Civil Pipelayer to join our Hydraulics team across projects in South East Queensland. This role will support the delivery of underground services across our urban civil subdivision projects, with opportunities to also work on larger civil infrastructure projects.
Reporting directly to the Hydraulics Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality pipe installation works, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
This is a full-time position offering above-award hourly rates, applicable allowances, RDO accruals, and annual leave. As a direct Winslow employee from day one, you’ll enjoy job security, long-term career opportunities.
We’re looking for skilled pipelayers who take pride in their workmanship and have proven experience delivering civil subdivision works as part of a professional pipe crew.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Civil Pipelayer on civil construction projects
- Previous civil subdivision experience (essential)
- Strong understanding of underground services installation, including stormwater, sewer, and drainage
- Ability to read and interpret plans, levels, and specifications
- Relevant plant tickets (advantageous but not essential)
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Ability to provide relevant work references
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol assessment
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Your Day-to-Day
- Carry out pipe laying works including stormwater, sewer, and drainage installation
- Set out, install, and align pipes to levels and grades in accordance with project drawings
- Perform trench preparation, backfilling, and compaction works
- Work closely with operators, leading hands, and supervisors to deliver programmed works
- Assist with pit installation, connections, and associated civil works
- Ensure works are completed safely and in compliance with WHS requirements
- Conduct quality checks to ensure installations meet project specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Support site mobilisation and general hydraulics crew activities as required
