Your Role at Winslow

Winslow is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Civil Project Manager to join our delivery team, working primarily across projects based in Ipswich and surrounding areas.

In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of civil urban development projects, with a strong focus on safety, program and quality. You will lead project teams onsite and in the office, working closely with Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

This is a full-time, permanent salaried position, offering a competitive remuneration package including a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and long-term career opportunities within a respected national civil contractor.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of civil construction projects
  • Lead and mentor project teams including Engineers and Supervisors
  • Oversee project programming, resourcing, and sequencing of works
  • Manage budgets, cost control, forecasting, and variations
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, quality, and environmental requirements
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
  • Identify and manage project risks and opportunities
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Provide regular reporting on project progress and performance

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil construction
  • Strong background in subdivisions, bulk earthworks, or civil infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, programs, and project teams
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol assessment
