Your Role at Winslow

Winslow now has an opportunity for an Experienced Backhoe Operator to join projects across various suburbs throughout Brisbane.

This is a full-time role offering competitive above-award hourly rates, allowances, and benefits including RDO accruals and annual leave. As a direct Winslow employee from day one, you'll enjoy job security and the opportunity to grow your career within a national civil contractor.

We aren't just looking for everyday operators; we want people passionate about the civil construction industry, with tenacity, drive, and ambition to grow within our company. Winslow's preference is to foster and promote internally, and we actively support operators looking to expand their skills and experience across different machines and projects.

Your Day-to-Day

• Operate backhoe safely and efficiently across our civil urban projects
• Assist with trenching, service installation, and general bulk earthworks
• Work closely with site supervisors and crews to deliver project outcomes
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic plant maintenance
• Follow all WHS policies and site safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience operating backhoe machinery on civil subdivision projects
• Relevant plant tickets and licences
• White Card + current driver's licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical & D&A
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
